Each dawn, our boats return with carefully selected fish and seafood, delivered directly to our restaurant to preserve their freshness, authentic flavor, and natural quality. |

Through direct partnerships with producers throughout Peru, we receive lemons, cassava, and corn from northern farms, onions from the southern coast, and seafood supplied by local fishermen and associations. | Founded in 1988 by Arturo Guardia, affectionately known as “Morocho,” alongside his wife Joelma Cuya, El Morocho began as a family dream rooted in the sea. Over time, it grew not only in guests, but in meaningful relationships — customers who became friends and part of our history. Today, the legacy continues through the next generation — Chef Jonathan Guardia and Chef Fiama Guardia — who honor their father’s vision while leading El Morocho confidently into the future. |
